In our last Master Coach Certification training I did a few ‘demonstrations’ with some of the coaches who were kind enough to put their LIVES on the line in front of everyone including the CAMERA.

…and we captured it all.

In this video, you’ll see the highlights of the life changing conversation I had with a mother who was trying to reclaim her relationship with her daughter after ten years of being apart.

P.S.  You can learn master coach techniques by osmosis when you watch live examples like this.  Watch this video several times and take notes on the questions I ask.  (HINT:  I use the 45-Minute Life Change Technique in the video.)

  1. Thank you AGAIN, Jeff! I saw myself in THIS video. I had been raised in a dysfunctional alcoholic family. In 2010, I graduated from the 9-month Celebrate Recovery Women’s 12-Step Program through a local church. At my invitation, my two grown children attended my graduation ceremony. When I went up to accept my Graduation Certification and Chip I publicly apologized to both of them for what I had brought them through growing up. I also asked for their forgiveness. Our relationship has steadily improved and we have a healthier, happier family these days!
These Training videos are exactly what I now need so I can “properly” pull from my past reservoir of life experience and knowledge while at the same time effectively use the “45-Minute Life Change Techniques” with my clients in ONE Session! It took me YEARS to learn this stuff!
I am seriously-motivated to continue to move forward with your trainings to become the Best Coach I can to help others also move forward. Grateful thanks for all your efforts.

  2. This video was very helpful in seeing this process in action. I am starting to understand how these things all inter-relate and how they can be put into practical use. My question is: Are all of people’s challenges related to the combination of the 4 survival needs in relation to the Triad, or is it only applicable in some cases?
This is a whole new way of looking at things that i have not seen during my 30+ years of reading self improvement books and attending workshops.

YES because every ‘challenge’ can be related back to how someone FEELS (i.e. a TRIAD) and/or how someone ACTS (which is driven by a TRIAD and the FOUR SURVIVAL NEEDS).

Although there are plenty of external problems, the only real one is inside us and can be quantified / diagnosed / solved in the ways described in the video.

The same is true for positive goals / achievements / abilities, etc.

  4. Thanks Jeff theses videos were very helpful to me in understanding the concepts of the human nature, and the need to be loved, and feel significant. I also came from a Dysfunctional family as well that did not show love in any way, so my need for it came through being a workaholic. I’m so glad that is over in my life. Lol…..

This also has truly helped me now to understand that even when others don’t celebrate us as they did when they have first met us, does not mean that we are not valuable. We are all truly precious and significant in everyway. Thanks again!

  5. Thank you for sharing these videos; they were a real eye-opener. It was wonderful to see the techniques in action and gave me quite a lot to think about…on the coaching front as well as personally.
